Q. Why should I store at Tamarac Self-Storage

Our facility is brand new, very clean, conveniently located and secure. All our ground floor units have easy drive up access.

Q. What size do I need?
A.
We offer a wide range of sizes from 5’x10’ to 10’x30’. Determine what items you will be storing and we can assist you in selecting the appropriate size to suit your needs. Is it mostly boxed items or is it more large pieces of furniture/appliances? Will the items stack? Will you be accessing the unit frequently?

Q. When can I access my storage unit?
A.
You can access your storage 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Q. What is the best way to store my belongings? 
A.

Q. Do I have to sign a long-term contract?
A.
At Tamarac Self Storage, you determine the time period and we guarantee not to change your rate.

Q. Do I need insurance?
A
. Storage insurance is not mandatory but it is highly recommended. Our insurance does not cover the contents of any units and you must self insure if you want to be insured. For your convenience, Tamarac Self Storage offers storage insurance at very competitive rates, however, you may want to contact your own insurance agent.

Q. Is there anything I can’t store?
A.
Furs, jewelry and other expensive items, irreplaceable items, any living thing, firearms, explosives, flammables of any kind (gas, diesel, oil, paint, etc.), drugs or drug paraphernalia, stolen items, any type of hazardous items, perishable items of any kind, hazardous waste materials of any kind, items that produce odors or any item that will in any way make other tenants or the manager unhappy.

Q. What payment options do you accept?
A.
We gladly accept cash, checks, MasterCard, Visa and Discover.

Q. When will my rent be due?
A.
Rent is due each month on the first of the month. Monthly invoices will not be issued unless specifically requested. Specially requested monthly invoices will incur an an additional of $5 per month.

Q. What if I don’t pay my rent on time?
A.
Rental payment not paid within 10 days of due date is considered late and will be subject to a 10% late fee. If the tenant fails to pay rental, action will be taken as recommended by New York Self Storage Association.
